In Progress...
We are working on finishing our basement and boy has it been work. Zane has been so awesome in this whole process. He wasn't to thrilled with my ambition because my ambition usually translates into work for him!! I'm so blessed to have such a handy man for a husband. As I type we are having the carpet installed, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I've attached a bunch of pictures of the process and will post again when we've completed it. Ciara will be moving into the room we finished downstairs. I told her we could paint her room any color she wanted, any guesses as to what color she decided on??!!

Handsome little man
Dalin got a haircut the other day. After much debate as to how I should cut his hair my friend suggested that I just use the clippers and buzz him...so I did. Here is a good representation of before and after.
Before...
After...much better, don't you think!
Halloween Fun
We've had fun this last week getting ready for Halloween. Our ward hosted a Halloween Carnival that we took the kids to. Ciara invited her cousin Jasmine and Grandma Julie came along! She was a photographer for Halloween :) Jasmine was a pirate, Ciara...an elephant (what else!!) and Dalin was a cute little bat. I was asked to help out with the festivities so was obligated to dress up as well, I was a princess, along with my primary councelors. Last Monday we carved our pumpkins and had a lot of fun with everyone pulling out the guts and carving the perfect jaggety lantern! Here a few pics of our weekly adventures.

From Summer Sun to Winter Wonderland
This pic was taken on Sept. 15th. The kids had so much fun playing in the water... fast forward to today...
That's Montana for you. Ciara had so much fun outside playing with Daddy. They built a snowman and made snow angels.

The Beginning of the End
The other day I took this cute little video of Dalin. He's been quite the mover and shaker lately. He really likes to rearrange my kitchen chairs. Anything that will slide across the floor basically. I'm always having to move the chairs and his high chair back to the table when it's time to eat so I pulled out this old walker of Ciara's. He really likes it unto he runs into something, then he gets frustrated because he doesn't know how to turn it. So it's the beginning of the end as soon as this little boy starts to walk all I'm going to be doing all day is chasing after him...like I don't already do that!!

Corn Maize fun
This last Saturday we took the kids to the local corn Maze. We didn't even go through the large maze. We did the kids maze though. Ciara had a lot of fun with all of the other things they had to offer. She enjoyed the "corn box" the most I think. There was also a jungle gym area, pig races, peddle powered go carts, a well-pump duck game, and a bean bag corn toss. I'm thinking I'd like to go back with just Zane, the maze this year is "Pirates of the Caribbean" and the maze looks like a lot of fun. Here are some pics of the family fun.
Date Night
The other night some friends of ours watched the kids and Zane and I were able to go on a date!! It was a lot of fun. I talked Zane into taking me golfing. After about the 4th hole we stopped keeping score because we were so terrible. I only shot par on one hole and everything else was WELL ABOVE par. O-well, we had fun being silly. I'd really like to take golf lessons! I could see myself getting addicted to it.

Big Winner!
So I was looking online for the bedding set I wanted to get for Dalin to see if it was on sale. The regular amount is 170.00 and I wasn't thrilled with that price so, on a whim, I thought I'd check ebay. I found a new set of it up for bid and I won. Can you believe it, I've never bought anything on ebay in my life. So, how much did I pay you ask? I got the set for $56.00 plus $15.00 shipping. I saved $99.00. I think with the money I saved I'm going to buy the room decor that goes with it. A lamp shade and some really cute electrical covers. I'm so excited about saving the money!! Woo-hoo.

Daddy's little helper
I commissioned Zane to build a bed for Ciara. I found a cute one at Target but they wanted $270.00 plus shipping. So Zane built it for me. It took him all of an hour and a half. It would have gone faster but he had a little helper. My only problem now is do I paint it or stain it?? What do you think?

New Obsession

Soo... I'm done with the Twilight series, I'm waiting for the next in the Inheritance series, what's a girl to do. Go to the bookstore of course. And of course I find a book to read that turns out to be a trilogy. The first two books are out and I read each of them (938 pages total) in a 24 hr. period (24 hrs. a book). So two days later I am now waiting for the third and final installment, which doesn't come out until March of 2009. Anyway, I obviously enjoyed these books so maybe you will to. Happy reading!
Cute Bedding Set?

Okay, so I need some feedback. I've been looking all over the internet for a bedding set for Dalin and I really like this one but I want to know what everybody else thinks? So do you like it or should I keep looking?
