Needs

Okay, so I got this idea from Zane's cousin Karen. Just google your name and put needs behind it and list the top ten things that come up. I googled myself and Zane and here they are.

Amber Needs...
1."help...big brother 10", hmmm maybe I should tryout?!
2. "some ideas", this was from a tatoo and body piercing site... any suggestions?
3. "a new do", ain't that the truth, I've been trying to think of something new for my hair for forever.
4. "You and your money", yes, yes I do, if you could start sending it that would be great!
5. "your help" see above, only large bills please
6. "to go but the door is locked", drat, fooled once again by the locked door.
7. "help" man I didn't realize I was in such need
8. "to get her act together" thus the many crys for help apparantly
9. "Adresses", hmmm maybe if you send me that money I'll have all of the return addresses
10. "A man in my life" I don't think so, one is definately enough for any woman!

Zane's Needs
1. "Close relationships", hmm I never notices he was emotionally stunted. LOL
2. "Some help" apparantly Zane and I are in need of help
3. "New sounds", yeah some of the sounds that come out of him could change!
4. "More pop video on AOL", maybe more so on you tube than AOL, I think he's watched all there is to watch on You Tube
5. "To consider the geological implications", um, yeah, he's deep in thought as we speak, hahahahaha
6. "to learn it", we have a team of scientists looking into what "it" is
7. "to choose better", I guess he didn't consider the implications long enough.
8. "To make up for lost time" well, I can think of some cancelled dates that he could make up for
9. "No introduction", well, what could I possibly say about that one, he is Zathanual after all
10. "To be removed from our screens for good" hahahaha that one made me laugh!!

Okay, so now you try, happy googling!!

The next book in line

Well, I've finished the Twilight series. I've even read the last one twice. I'd probably be reading it again but I let a friend borrow it. So... the next book on the agenda is Brisingr. This is the third installment, (of four) in the Inheritance Cycle. I'm excited to be reading this. I've been waiting for it for quite some time now. It comes out 9/20/08 so I don't have to much longer to wait. I first started reading the series before the second book had even come out. I LOVE the books, I HATE the movie. It was no where near what the books were like. I don't even think the screenwriter read the book at all!! If you've seen the movie but haven't read the books, please do yourself a favor and borrow or buy the books and read them, SO MUCH BETTER. I was so infuriated when Zane and I went to the movie that I started to read them to him the same night we saw the movie, and now he's hooked too. I'm excited to have another book to read with him. It's so awesome having something intelectual to talk about, and something that doesn't include the dirty diapers or nap time schedules! Anyway, this is what I'm waiting for now. Can't wait till it's here!

Blog Sites

I just wanted to put in a quick post and let everyone know that I've talked my mom into creating her own blogsite. I'm proud to announce that she's made the big leap into the world of technology and I'm proud of her. I always say, if you don't know something about computers or technology just ask someone younger than you and they'll have the answer. Ciara is quite the computer geek. She loves playing games and watching little videos on noggin.com and pbskids.org. Anyway, I've added a list of family and friend's blogsites and theirs is one of them.

A dudie and his daddy

I almost forgot, Dalin said his first word this last Wednesday, the 6th. I have officially lost the battle. Dalin's first word was the same as Ciara's first word... Dada. Everytime I try to get him to say mama he just smiles and says Dada.

Family Visits

We have had so much fun this last week. Ronda and Jared came to visit us and stayed for several days (never long enough though) and then we all went to Whitehall to visit Ronda's family over the weekend. While Ronda and Jared were here we went to Bigsplash waterpark and had fun in the pools and on the slides. We also ran into the Christensen family. Hiedi used to watch Ciara when I was working full time and we became very close to there family. They moved to Wyoming and we haven't seen them much. It was such a wonderful suprise and Ciara had such fun swimming with the kids.

We also had great fun in Whitehall with all of our family. Ciara was a true cowgirl riding a horse all by herself. Dalin on the other hand was a little scared of the horses, although not as scared as he was of Grandpa's singing fish...that was just a little bit too much for him. Ciara had a blast playing with all of the cousins. She especially enjoyed catching her first fish out in Jeff and Stacy's pond. Dalin enjoyed the four-wheeler ride that we took him on, he's definatly all boy!! On the last night we were there we had a dinner with everyone. It was great to see all of the family and catch up with everyone. It's always sad to say goodbye. It seems like as soon as we part I'm instantly looking for an excuse to visit again! I wish we could be close to everyone all at the same time. Somebody needs to invent a teleportation machine so we can go anywhere we want to. Man, I don't even want to think about how much one of those babies would cost! Anyway I just want all of you to know how much we love all of you and how much we miss seeing everyone. It's always so much fun to visit and be together! (Even if all we're doing all day is reading the various books we are currently engrossed in!! hahahaha

Here is a slideshow of some of the pictures from this weekend
